<p>In alcune distribuzioni di Linux non tutti i formati sono supportati automaticamente, perciò potrebbe non essere possibile visualizzare tutti i formati sopra elencati.</p>
<p>Il supporto per un formato è detto <em>backend</em>. Se si ottiene l'errore «Impossibile aprire il documento», verificare che il pacchetto di backend per il formato sia installato.</p>
